Coffee & Cacao Wake-Up Smoothie
Personally, I’m not a big breakfast person. I know breakfast is important but when I wake up, the last thing I want to do is cook a big meal. Which is why I rely on this yummy, yet filling, smoothie. The best thing about this drink is that it has coffee in it, so not only does it fill me up but it also gives me enough energy to wake up and get my morning started.
1 banana (frozen is great but room temp is fine too)
3/4 cup cashew milk (you can use another non-dairy milk, but cashew is very creamy which I like)
1/2 cup cold coffee
1 Tbsp. raw cacao powder
2 Tbsp. maple syrup or agave
optional: top with cacao nibs and sea salt
Put everything into a blender and voila!
